When partnering with Office Shed you get a dedicated Client Services Coordinator (or admin assistant / VA) who will become an extension of your team. They will learn your business, build relationships with your team and get know your customers and suppliers. They will also be backed up by the rest of our admin team, so when they take a break, we will have other team members trained and ready to step in and look after your account.
No it’s cheaper and more efficient! When outsourcing to Office Shed we will be available to you and your customers throughout all business hours, but you only pay for the time your VA is actually working on your account to the second. So unlike employees if they take a toilet break or are doing other things not related to actually working on your business, you don’t pay. Office Shed only charges for time required via weekly retainers.
Then there are the costs of an employee including insurance, tax, software licenses, sick days, office supplies, the power they use etc. We have a team of experienced staff, so you never have to worry about sick days or people leaving and we do all the training!

Plus we have worked with many other apps including GeoOp, Buildxact, Asana, FlatRateNow, Monday and more. All our team are trained and experienced in using these types of software.
Our Client Service Coordinators perform a combined role of being an admin assistant / virtual assistant and virtual receptionist. So can do any of the admin work associated with a call that you require from creating new customers, booking in jobs, scheduling, quoting, liaising with 3rd parties and much more. Plus they are dedicated to your account so will develop a deep understanding of your business and be motivated to push for those bookings.
Our call answering services are different to most reception services in that we have a dedicated team member for you account, meaning we can deliver a more specialised service. Calls are not routed to faceless agents who have hundreds of other client calls to deal with and spend every minute of the day answering calls.
Yes this is one of our strongest and most popular areas of service. We schedule for most of our trades and services clients via their job management apps or shared calendar.
We deliver our service via weekly retainers that are based on time. We simply time when we are working on your account each day and measure it against your retainer. We can do any admin task you require in that time including answering your phone calls.
Yes we work with other types of service businesses as well. Our specialisation is trade and services, but we do have some other types of clients who ask us to help them as well. Most of our clients are plumbers, electricians, roofers, cleaning businesses, other maintenance tradies like handymen and smaller renovation style builders.
Our team of bookkeepers include trained accountants, but you also need your own chartered accountant external to Office Shed who can sign off your financials each year and meet your other tax obligations. We are a BAS Agents and can lodge you BAS directly to the ATO and perform other BAS Agent related tasks like Payroll & Superannuation.
